i have been out of the game for a few months as we recently moved our family to germany. i have devoted my time and energy to getting settled and helping my beautiful girls adjust to their new home.  it has been difficult but we are slowly adapting and are loving our little village and all the adventures in our midst.  i can't think of a better "first" post since arriving here, than that of our dear friends expecting their second child and a lovely young lady getting ready to take on the world and begin college. i am super stoked to share the full posts with you soon … in the meanwhile … enjoy the sneak peek!

{ the people of sayulita. personal }

this past summer i had the extreme pleasure of photographing marissa and ben's wedding in the quaint fishing village of sayulita. located off of mexico's southern west coast only 45 minutes from puerto vallarta. the morning before my departure i met several of the locals, all of whom were kind and so very lovely. sayulita is an amazing place filled with so many wonderful people. i hope to visit again very soon. here are just a few of the faces of the ever-captivating sayulita.

{ baby noah. los angeles, ca }

it has been sometime since i have blogged last. in just a few months it feels as though a lifetime has passed. a crazy whirlwind of events packed into just a few months. now it is all coming to a calm close giving way to a brilliant future filled with time. time together. when he left there were only three of us. now we are a family of four. we now have time to appreciate and celebrate the little things that you long for during a deployment. whether it be drinking coffee together in the morning, taking a nap with your toddler or watching your four month old blow bubbles, we have the luxury of time to enjoy those unappreciated fleeting moments. homecomings always give way to the realization that time is what is to be appreciated in life. as the three people that hold my heart get a much needed nap and time to soak in a few snuggles, i figured it the best time to share images from last year of sweet noah at just a couple of weeks old. natalie and eliot are the proud parents of one adorable little boy!
